Overview

First place of interest of the stay, the Mont-Saint-Michel, a site not to be missed in the Normandy region. Then enjoy the nature in the city of Bayeux before discovering a village classified as one of the most beautiful in France, Beuvron-en-Auge.

In order to rest, we went to the seaside dear to the American cinema, Deauville. Then direction Honfleur to combine nature and culture.

In the last part of the circuit, a stop is necessary in the seaside resort of Sainte-Adresse. To finish, Étretat and its mythical cliffs to enjoy the fresh air.

Itinerary

DAY 1 - The Mont-Saint-Michel
DAY 1 - The Mont-Saint-Michel

Once you arrive in the Mont-Saint-Michel, visit the center and the abbey on your own.
In the evening, leave for a guided crossing of the bay to the islet of Tombelaine.

DAY 2 - Bayeux
DAY 2 - Bayeux

A visit of Bayeux, a city attached to nature offering an enchanting botanical garden. Created in 1859 by the Bühler brothers, renowned landscape gardeners, it features a weeping beech tree with a 40 meter span.

Afterwards, discover the Haizerie Farm which makes its own artisanal ice cream.
Visit the farm with the observation of the cows and the production of milk and cream.
To finish on a tasting of ice creams with sometimes unusual flavors as foie gras, oyster, camembert or salmon.

DAY 3 - Beuvron-en-Auge

This new day begins with a walk in the village of Beuvron-en-Auge, classified in the "most beautiful villages of France". Beuvron is like a postcard with its half-timbered houses, its market halls and its manors scattered in the countryside.

DAY 4 - Deauville
DAY 4 - Deauville

It is impossible to be in Deauville without going to the promenade of the Planches, which pays tribute to the American actors and directors who came to Deauville for the American Film Festival. The 450 Art Deco style bathing cabins are part of the city's identity.
In order to relax, a boat trip is planned to discover the Marinas of Deauville and the ports of the two cities.

DAY 5 - Honfleur
DAY 5 - Honfleur

When you arrive in the city of painters, take a walk in the city center to discover the Church of Saint Catherine. It has an original shape representing a double hull of boat reversed.
Then continue your walk by the Old Basin which is the port, the houses which surround it are classified as historical monuments.
Last recommendation, go and see the garden of personalities which is full of busts of illustrious people who were born or who lived in the city like Claude Monnet or Charles Baudelaire.

DAY 6 - Sainte-Adresse

The Hève lighthouse is one of the most beautiful sites of Sainte-Adresse. It rises on the high cliffs of the Seine estuary, and was listed as a Historic Monument in 2010.
On the Cape of the Hève, visitors can discover a very interesting geological and prehistoric site.
Don't forget to walk on the beach.

DAY 7 - Étretat
DAY 7 - Étretat

Start for this last day of the trip by admiring the city's cliffs, a mythical natural site on the beach.
Then stop at the gardens for a breathtaking view.
