1. General approach to the use of cookies

When you visit our sites, our applications or our e-mails, we may install computer files on your browser that are called “cookies”.

This method allows us to :

  • personalize the content we offer you;
  • adapt the presentation of our site pages to the display preferences of your terminal, hardware, viewing or reading software of your terminal;
  • To memorize information relating to a form that you filled out on our site during your registration for example;
  • remember the products, services or information you have chosen;
  • individually measure the use of our emailings;
  • to study any metrological data allowing the realization of statistics.

Cookies are important for the proper functioning of a site. They make it possible to keep connection information, provide a secure connection, collect statistics in order to optimise the site’s functionalities and adapt the content offered to your centres of interest.

The news gave them a bad image but at CD2RI we use them with respect for your privacy and we will prove it to you.

2. Cookies used by CD2RI association

CD2RI also uses cookie technology on its website www.tchilee.com.

Thanks to this process, CD2RI can read information deposited during your previous visits on its website or during the opening of our advertising mailing operations.

The main characteristics of the cookies deposited by the site www.tchilee.com are as follows:

  • The information recorded in the “cookies” files issued by TCHILEE are anonymous and can only be read in the context of the operations carried out by CD2RI;
  • Cookies are stored in the “cookies” folder of your browser on a temporary basis;
  • the maximum period of validity of the “cookies” files issued is limited in principle to 6 months.

Certain “cookie” files may be issued by external services used on our sites for audience and consultation measurement, the recognition of your terminal for communications tailored to your interests and the sharing of content on social networks only through your sharing action by clicking on a duly recognizable sharing button. For example, the facebook “f” on a blue background is considered by CD2RI as a recognizable share button.

These different uses are intended to allow CD2RI to know you better and to always better meet your expectations by offering you adapted contents. Within the framework of our statistical studies, we use the Matomo tool which is in conformity with the European law on data protection. Among other things, we have implemented the following means within our databases in order to protect your data:

  • your IP address is anonymized on six digits;
  • your identity is anonymized by a pseudonym;
  • the data relating to your visit are deleted after 6 months.

This way we can’t:

  • geolocate you beyond your country of connection ;
  • associate your visit with your identity ;
  • use the data relating to your visit beyond six months.

Any bounce to a site or application external to www.tchilee.com means that you are no longer under our previously stated data protection policy. CD2RI is not responsible for the data management policy established by an external site or third party application.

Insofar as we use settings that respect your privacy, you cannot oppose the deposit of our cookies on your terminal unless you have specifically set your browser to do so. However, you can delete them manually or automatically at any time by going to the settings options of your browser. See our dedicated paragraph for more information. If you still have questions about this aspect, please contact us at [email protected] We will answer your questions and try to reassure you!

Insofar as you would have set up a parameter aiming at blocking our cookies totally or partially, it is very likely that the navigation on our site will become unstable or will be unsecure. CD2RI cannot be held responsible for this situation and its consequences.

3. To go further: the different types of cookies

a. Session cookies

These cookies make navigation easier. They are stored on the connection terminal (PC, laptop, tablet or mobile phone) when visiting a site (the session). They are only active when you explore the site and are deleted as soon as you close your browser.

b. Persistent cookies

These cookies remain on your device until they expire or until you delete them from your browser’s cache. They are activated each time you visit the site that created them.

They allow us to recognise you, help us analyse your behaviour on the site and make it possible to identify problems. All information is collected anonymously as described above.

c. Internet user authentication cookies

These cookies will allow registered members who wish to login to their account and to free themselves from the password.

  • Shopping cart cookies

These cookies allow you to use the main features of access to an account or a shopping cart. They facilitate navigation

  • Analytical cookies

These cookies are used to measure the audience of a site by making it possible to know the frequentation of a site, its use and to measure its performance.

They improve the functioning and ergonomics of the sites, by highlighting certain more popular content and simplifying navigation.

  • Advertising cookies

These cookies collect your interests and will then be used to present you with communications tailored to your desires or needs, even after you have left the site.

  • Third party cookies

We may use partner companies to enhance our audience. These partners are likely to deposit cookies on the connected terminal.

  • MATOMO – As previously presented, MATOMO is our audience measurement and statistical analysis tool. It is monitored by the European Commission in terms of data protection. It is thanks to the flexible parameterization offered by this tool that we can ensure the protection of your data.
  • FACEBOOK – Social Network

When you use buttons to share content online through social networks such as Twitter and Facebook, a cookie will be placed in the browser on your device. The content shared on your social network is therefore no longer under our data protection policy and is your responsibility.
